public school- and I;ve been offered the position. It pays more, and the job is exactly what I’ve ben educated to do, but… should they not give me tenure, which is a real possibility no matter how hard I work and how good my performance, then in 3 yrs. I’m without a job. I’m married and my husband does well, but I need the income of a career- I do like what I do- and I think at my age, as long as I’m somewhat satisfied, I should stick with the sure thing. Any thoughts?
