First, I am not trying to piss anyone off with this question. I am honestly curious.

Do you ever post questions and people never read your true meaning and go on and on about something else completely different? Why do you think this is?
Whould we be teaching kids computer skills? Media literacy? How to write a check, keep a budget, fill out an application, have “safe sex”? Or should we prepare students more generally to face an always uncertain future, equipping them with the skills of planning, decision making, collaboration, critical reading and writing, and a stock of knowledge that transcends particular times and places?

I have a question about tutoring. I have lots of experience tutoring younger children (grades 1 to 3), but for certain reasons I need to have experience tutoring older children, like middle to high schoolers.
