This book addresses implications for “Gold Standards” of education research especially in science education and literacy. These standards are meant to provide evidence-based educational outcomes found effective in randomized controlled trials, following patterns of evidence used in medical research. Similar expectations have emerged in other countries from education ministries, for researchers working with U.S. colleagues, and for researchers with multinational and non-profit support.

In 2006 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) ranked the U.S. 21th in relation to 57 other participating countries in science literacy. I’m going to be getting my B.A. History in December. I’m sick of working part-time and want to have receptionisht/secretarial/medical billing-like work after graduation while I get my M.A Teaching. I have excellent academic credentials, 3.66 gpa, three honorary societies, Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List, International Honors College student, a Level III (highest level) certified college tutor.
