Okay. So I’m student teaching this semester. Next week, i get to start a literacy reading group with an slightly advanced group of children. We will be reading Number the Stars, by Lois Lowry over the next couple weeks. I need ideas for projects i could assign them after. I need at least two or three good ones–using different types of Multiple Intelligences. I think, for writing, i will have them write a letter as one of the characters. Any idea otherwise?
Thanks!

The poem can
- paint word pictures
-appeal to the senses
-reveal their feelings
-arouse our emotions
-describe people
-describe the world of nature
or
-try to change our attitudes
Please reply but not with poems too hard to understand!
And also not too long as i have to do an oral presentation on it with an analysis.
