Developing countries are faced with the problem of low economic development, high levels of poverty, very low GDP levels, low income per capita and economic backwardness; these can be attributed to the high illiteracy levels. I have to do a research project about a social problem in teenagers… should i choose?
Our topic idea is due tomorrow and I thought I should do Self Harm [ie cutting, burning, etc] but I’m finding it hard to come across encyclopedia articles or non fiction books. I’m thinking I should change my topic.

The recruits that are trying to be police officers in Afghanistan can’t read according to the Newspaper. The US army people training them said they are having a hard time because 9 out of 10 of them are illiterate.
So is that why they can be tricked into blowing themselves up for “allah” because the men in Afghanistan can’t read and the women aren’t allowed anyway, but the Imams can?
