i cant really find much on the internet and i was see if anyone could give me a little info on any of these questions or a website would be great ~thanks~

high literacy or illiteracy rate? what is a school day like? courses or activities? same calendar/ vacations? any differences between their schools and USA? dress code, uniforms?

Week beginning 18th February is our anuual Arts Week at school. I’m a primary teacher and I always struggle with artistic ideas! So any help would be appreciated.
We spend the week focussing on one painting – this year it happens to be a painting by a Peruvian artist with lots of colourful flowers etc. It looks like fabric. All our lessons revolve around this one piccy. Can anyone think of any Peru art or sculpting etc that I could do with the children? Anything at all – even maths, literacy, geog, art, history ! Anything! But majority art based!!!
