Don’t get me wrong….I’m glad that many Christians are recognizing that modern biology (study of life and its development….i.e. evolution) is a GREAT thing and is helping our advancement.
But I can’t help but wonder, how can they say that the two are compatible?
Evolutionary biologists believe that the first modern humans (god’s so called “children”) appeared at least 100,000 years ago (up to 200,000). Think about what life would have been like for them! They were left to fight for their lives in a harsh environment of constant disease and predators. The extreme climate, the wars and battles, the accidents,…

Evolutionary biologists believe that the first modern humans (god’s so called “chidlren”) appeared at least 100,000 years ago (up to 200,000).
1. Think about what life would have been like for them. They were left to fight for their lives in a harsh environment of constant disease and predators. The extreme climate, the wars and battles, the accidents, etc… the average life expectancy of a human would not be too much more than 25 years.
2. So…. having witnessed the brutality and struggle for 98,000 years, The Christian god then decides that they should intervene and help humans, by impregnating a Jewish…

Consider the importance of scientific literacy in the 21st century, a time when science influences every aspect of our lives from shopping at the grocery store (genetically modified food), to choosing a car (environmental implications), to voting on political issues (ecology, health, conservation, and technology).

My name is Philip Spires and I am a Libros International author. It’s about six months since I first held a copy of my book, Mission, in my grasp. Mission was a project I had lived with, on and off, for twenty years. I wrote the book in the 1980s and forgot about it until November 2006. I retrieved it, decided to finish it and then there was Libros International. So, in my grasp, there was the book. It was a strange feeling. It felt like it had a life of its own, as if it had nothing to do…

Historically speaking, relatively recently, literacy has become greatly more common. And with the advent of technologies that allow people to communicate instantly all over the world (such as me asking this to you right now), it seems less likely that localized communities will deviate from the standard and contribute to the slow evolution of language.
Tell me what you think, or if it would be too early in history to judge such a thing.
Looks like I don’t have a choice as to who to give the best answer to…

If you learn English, you will have plenty of new opportunities to make money. This is because proper English is quickly becoming a necessity in a world ruled by communication and information. This is also because, quite frankly, the English language continues to suffer a decline in terms of people who actually use it properly. This may be because of the advent of text messaging and digital communication, but you may also notice that a lot of people – even native speakers of the English language – tend to make grammatical, syntactical and even spelling errors in the simplest statements.…

Introduction
Advances in both cognitive science and information technology have the potential to transform education and training in ways previously unimaginable. To lay the groundwork for Federal leadership in learning technology innovation, in September 2002, the Commerce Department published Visions 2020: Transforming Education and Training through Advanced Technologies. For Visions 2020, a number of distinguished individuals and teams from a wide range of technology and education fields were asked to look out into the future, and describe what technology-enabled learning experiences could be like. They responded with a rich collection of visions, some of which are excerpted in this report. Visions 2020…
