Or more precisely, ignorance of Pop Culture?
For example a friend of mine, in her 30s, has never seen any of the Star Wars movies… not even the original three.
And sometimes I’ll make a quip and someone will say, “Oh, you got that from ‘South Guy’ or ‘Family Park’ or ‘Welcome Back, Potter’.” Heck, I went over 10 years without television… how am I supposed to know all this stuff?
Bonus Q: Is it passé to wear spandex while doing the Macarena?
