For example,

etc…

Well there are a few letters I’m having trouble with… E, N, O, Q, and Y. If you have any ideas for me it would be greatly appreciated :)

I’ve taught ESL both in the US (to adults) and abroad(to kids). I’ve been wondering what the environment of a high school ESL class is like back in the US. Do you cover all of the subject material that they get in school and teach new words needed for those subjects (science, math, history etc)? Are you just teaching them grammar and converstation while they get content in their native language for the other classes?
Sorry if my questions sound ignorant, I’m really curious.

I am currently in an education class and the college I am attending and I have to do a teaching demonstration in front of my class. I need a lesson plan that will work well for this demonstration. I am looking for lesson plans for high school english classes. Every time plan that I come up with is too extravagant for the demonstration. The demonstration has to be 8-10 minutes. I would appreciate any help. Thank you so much!

yea, i have no clue. I was thinking about water birth and child literacy rates…but i have to find a way to make it persuasive.
the first speech I wrote was about Industrial Hemp and the second was about Globalization and Consumerism. I don’t know what to write about. I dont want to do anything religious because I dont want to offend anyone in my class by bashing their views.

Does anyone have any guidelines or ideas for activities (specific) for the students while we are there. This is the first time this bank is having a class visit and we are developing a curriculum. All our field trips have to be standards-based and I want to incorporate our standards for math (identification and exchange of money) and social studies (personal spending literacy and producers/consumers).
