My husband is looking for a teaching position in Vancouver, Canada. He has a BA, majoring in Contemporary English Lit., but he’s not sure what else he needs to be able to teach ESL? I should also mention that he can speak English and Korean fluently… Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

The results of a recent survey carried out in the U.S. revealed the fact that 20% of Americans believe that Sudan is in Asia, when it actually is the largest country in Africa. This was a pilot project for government to work with literacy. I saw a CEO from Yahoo interviewed on TV about a month ago. The premise of his conversation was that the whole community would be given one so that all members could communicate with each. It would be extremely essential for Aboriginal people in Canada to take advantage of this experiment. I sit on a National Board of Governors for literacy dealing with immigrants, people with disabilities and literacy issues. Indian and Northern Affairs Canada could be approached for First Nations and a community such as Gull Bay, Ontario.…
