It is important for those who work with preschoolers to choose a preschool learning activity carefully. Teaching preschoolers is a rewarding experience and young children are like pliable putty in their preschool teacherâs hands. Those who teach children, especially preschoolers, experience one of the finest joys that life has to offer. If you have ever watched a young childâs eyes widen in amazement as they see a new creature emerge before their sight – as with a science-based preschool learning activity, then you understand the true rewards of teaching children.

Try the following activity to get your students interacting and practicing English with one another.
Write out ten sentences on a piece of paper that include vocabulary and grammar covered in class. Cut out each sentence so you have ten slips of paper. Each slip of paper will have a unique sentence on it. Have your students sit in rows of five to six people back. HELP!!!!
I have an interview this thursday, and I am fresh out of ideas!
The remit I have been given says that I will need to teach a whole class of reception children for 15 mins, within the subject area of communication, language and literacy.
The only things I have thought of so far are either some kind of phonics game or a story related activity.
The trouble with the phonics idea though is that I clearly wont know the children, or the levels to pitch at. And besides that I don’t know that many phonics games anyway.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Please!

This will be my 1st year teaching and I’ll be teaching a kindergarten self-contained ESL class. The first 2 days of school are half-days and I needed an idea of something to do with them that perhaps gets them acquainted. Any ideas??? (They are ELLs and most probably won’t know much ENglish, if any).
