Should the US improve their literacy reading rates before telling the rest of the world about doing

1/3 of high school grads never read another book for the rest of their lives.42% of college grads never read another book after college.70% of adults did not buy let alone read a book last year.57% of Americans who actually read a new book, don't always finish the book.Oh yes these are interesting stats which are all true, so come on lets have some views on whether the americans need a proper education and literacy system in place before they can speak properly to the rest of us.At last someone's noticed, yes their students come here to finish their education, I know because I had to teach some of them in my 30yrs.Does make you wonder if its so good in the states, why do they come here.Just for the Americans who are busy thumbing down and sending me emails,the information comes from Robyn Jackson, University of Dayton, ring any bells yet?
