I love teaching/speaking and talking about financial literacy. I DO NOT want to become a financial planner or a investment salesperson. Being financial literate involves more than just “investing”. I also studied finance in colleage and I volunteer on weekends teaching financial literacy courses.
I hope to write a book before the year is over as well as create other info products(CD’s, budgeting software, etc…….) I also want to become a paid speaker and speak at colleages and universities and provide telesiminars and workshops, coaching, etc………
Has anyone ever turned their passion into a career? If so what did you do and does…

In Advanced Contemporary Literacy, we are required to learn about the decades, and must dress according to each of them on specific days. Please help me, as i’m getting graded on this, and we haven’t been taught yet what fashions were in. Pictures would be nice too :)
Well, I am Brazilian I am 14 years old and I want to teach literacy in English I want to start doing more like a course I know nothing of English did not want to enter the basic wanted to learn the basics with you Americans.
I am writing a research paper over Teaching Bible literacy, and I am about to start talking about how many ministers may want teaching the Bible to be placed in the hands of a bunch of “unqualified liberals.” Is there a passage in the Gospels to back up the point that those “unqualified liberals” have the right to teach the Bible? ANything would help.
Due to the subject of Financial Literacy not being taught in our school system , we face the problems of many poeple retiring with insufficient money to see them through their “golden age”.What will be the best solution.?
Is it a good idea to talk about volunteer work that you did in this 500-word statement? So far, in the part that I’m talking about my future goals, I wrote that I am interested in becoming a professor and teach university-level students.
Ok, I understand the occasional spelling or punctuation error, but PLEASE PEOPLE. Subject/verb agreement IS NOT THAT COMPLICATED.
I’ve been looking all over the internet but I can’t really find any information that isn’t relating to teaching the English language, and websites for colleges aren’t really helping right now either because I don’t know what courses I’m looking for. So, could anybody please tell me the qualifications you need to teach English in secondary schools (high schools if you’re American)? I know you need a teaching qualification and some A levels but I really don’t know the details that I should do.
I just accepted a 1st grade teaching position and will be a first year teacher. I’ve had A LOT of experience in Kindergarten and 2nd grade+, but none in 1st grade. I’m honestly a little intimidated by the transition from kindergarten (I’m filling in for a teacher now) to 1st. I want to do as much prep. as I can and would absolutely love suggestions of what books/websites/etc. I should turn to. Specifically for 1st grade. Thanks!
I’m doing clinical observation hours for my ed degree at an elementary school for a few weeks. Basically I just sit in on their classes and observe the way they teach literacy and mathematics. I’d like to get the teachers something, as well as the vice principal, for being so accommodating. Is a simple thank you card sufficient? I’d like to get them a little something as well…There are both male and female teachers.
