Hey,
for my exams revision, I am reading textbooks but the next day, I forget everything i have read.
It’s not productive so i would like some advice/tips to help me get the best of my reading.
How should we read textbooks and how to get the most of them?
The night before the exam, how can I revise since I can not read over again all the chapters of my course in the book?
Thanks for your time

No not the Marvel XMen ones but the literaly ones like Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The Dark Knight Returns, Sandman, ones with complex stories and characters. Do you think they improve reading skills like what 1984, Lord of the Rings, or Great Gatsby does?

Well,I should be in 7th grade, but I was held back due to me being absent so much since I’m sort of sickly.
Anyway, enough rambling,I was taking an IQ test(not online) and the..Um,person who takes it said I had the vocabulary, spelling skills and reading skills of an eleventh grader. How good is that to be exact?

I’m thirteen years old,and in 6th grade(I was left back in 6th grade, because I was absent so much due to me being somewhat sickly >>).
I was taking an official IQ test and the person that gave it to me said I have the reading skills, vocabulary and spelling skills of an eleventh grader.
Is that good? Eleventh graders are..16 year olds,in general, right?
She wasn’t talking about the test, she was talking about my skills since I was answering the questions.

The person has basic reading skills, graduated college and all BUT has a very hard time with larger words. I am wanting to help, and the person wants my help, but i need to know of a way to do so effectively without making the person feel badly. It amazes me how the education system does not spot such problems..
