I just started work in a preschool. I am responsible for one lesson a day. I can pretty much pick any theme I want. The morning teacher for the classroom that I have is doing all about me, which I am mirroring this week. I need lesson plan ideas though, on any and all topics. Also and content area: math, literacy, arts and crafts, sensory table I could use anything right now! I am teaching literacy in an enrichment camp and I am a new teacher. This is my first time actually teaching many of my lessons so I am sure that the timing may be off a bit on some of them. If my lesson ends early, what are some educational games I can play with the class?

I am 23 years old getting my life started and the greatest lesson i’ve learn so far is that my life sucks. Where to start. The topics we have are “cold weather”, “penguins”, “fruit”, “veggies”, “black history month”, “valentine’s day”, “body parts”, and “dental health”. The areas we have to cover are “group time”, block play”, dramatic play”, language/literacy”, “outside”, “dental health”, “health/safety”, “parent involvement”, “cognitive”, “creative arts”, “self-help”, “mental health”, “fine motor”, “music/movement”, and “environmental changes/additions”…….. yeah, fun stuff. I have to do a lesson for thrid graders that is about 30 minutes long. I was wonedring if anybody has any lessons for prefixes ( un, re, dis…) or Compare and contrast. It has to be related to literacy. So those are the two topics i thought about doing, the teacher recommended some ideas which the students need work on.
