Connect, First Edition, is a fun, 4-level, multi-skills American English course especially written and designed for young adolescents. Connect Student’s Book 1 is a beginning-level text for students aged 11-15 who are learning English for the first time. It develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Tasks provide opportunities for students to share their experiences. High-interest topics motivate them to learn. Student’s Book 1 contains eight units divided into two-page lessons. Also included are eight Learning Logs or self-assessment tests and eight Theme Projects.

Our au pairs have used this series to improve their English skills while here in the U.S. We have bought it regularly and now one uses it to teach English back in Brazil. Recommended!
