I am currently applying to teach ESL in Korea. It seems like such a hassle to apply there. I wanted to know if it is difficult to get in since the application process is so much of a hassle.
Also, do they really need a reference letter from a former employer? I’m having trouble contacting my former employer so I’d like to know if they would take me without the reference letter?

it is a lot of paper work… but it is very easy… once all the paper work is in it is walk in the park. Are you going public or private school? If you are going through private I would stop right now because the hours you work and the hassle you go through dealing with parents is not worth it. I am in public school and love it. If you need any help on getting things done let me know.
