HELP!!!!
I have an interview this thursday, and I am fresh out of ideas!
The remit I have been given says that I will need to teach a whole class of reception children for 15 mins, within the subject area of communication, language and literacy.
The only things I have thought of so far are either some kind of phonics game or a story related activity.
The trouble with the phonics idea though is that I clearly wont know the children, or the levels to pitch at. And besides that I don’t know that many phonics games anyway.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Please!

Actually, take that phonics game and come up with three scenarios, each a bit more difficult than the first. Begin the 15 minute session “getting to know” your students by asking them some questions and see what responses you get. Hopefully that will trigger what level to go with for the next 13 minutes. Getting the students active in the lesson will win over the evaluators. Good luck.
