Re-reading and comprehension has come at a premium for me, although the words are clearly there. Sometimes looking away and re-reading is the only way. Repetition and reading subjects that are truly interesting makes the mind stay on it. Sometimes taking notes on every sentence is another way to get through a paragraph which doesn't sink in. Limit your caffeine and sugar intake. They will distract. See yourself reading and comprehending the material before you start. That helps, too. Good luck.
