I like to get as much info as I can from articles and books,but I have trouble picking up information quickly and efficiently. Sometimes I have to go over something two or three times so I can actually pick it up.How do I improve my reading skills?

I have had that problem for most of my life. Re-reading and comprehension has come at a premium for me, although the words are clearly there.
Sometimes looking away and re-reading is the only way. Repetition and reading subjects that are truly interesting makes the mind stay on it. Sometimes taking notes on every sentence is another way to get through a paragraph which doesn’t sink in.
Limit your caffeine and sugar intake. They will distract. See yourself reading and comprehending the material before you start. That helps, too.

just read everyday and keep reading it over and over again until you get it you will eventually get better it just takes time… :)
